The Parish Church of St Mary Magdalen,
Ripley, Surrey, GU23 6AE, UK

Our main service on Sundays is at 10am

Worship for All!

We have simplified the way in which we organise our services in response to the need of our parishioners.

All our services now emphasise our sharing of the wisdom of the Bible; we seek to learn from what we hear and respond to it in prayer and thanksgiving. Most Sundays the service then concludes with us sharing Communion.

Once a month - in our Family Service - the Bible theme is made even more central and the service is built around a particular Bible theme in a way that is intended to appeal to worshippers of all ages. On these Sundays we invite all members of the family of God to worship together which is why we call it our “Family Service”. Usually this service is on the 2nd Sunday of the month but sometimes it is changed to adapt to particular occasions - look out for announcements in the News sheet and check the Church Diary.

We seek to provide appropriate learning and child care for children at our normal 10am Services but we do not do so for the Family Service as we hope that all families will join with the family of the Church in prayer and worship.

Coffee is served in the Church Room after all 10am Services

Other Sunday Services:

At 8am every Sunday
A simple service of Holy Communion (Prayer Book style on the 1st Sunday of the month)

At 6.30pm on the 3rd Sunday of the month
Usually Choral Evensong according to the Book of Common Prayer but sometimes varied for a special service of some sort.
